Just returned from staying 3 nights. Staff was very friendly! Rooms were clean. Plenty of clean towels. The room was not very big, but did accommodate 4 ladies, with 1 being a teenager and the other a young adult, without us having to step over everything. The pool was clean. Would definitely go back again. My only suggestion would be to take along a power strip. With all the electronics people use, there were not enough available outlets for recharging.

We booked a two night stay at the Thunderbird… not knowing what to expect as we had never been to ocean city before. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotels location to the beach and the staff assistance and generosity. We arrived earlier than check in and they allowed my kids to use the changing rooms and the pool while our room was being cleaned. The rooms are nice, the bathrooms could use an upgrade but are very clean for a beach motel! One suggestion I do have is to remove the large oversized desks in the room, I can’t imagine they get used often, and would free up some floor space.

The staff was great, pleasant, and acknowledged us whenever we would pass by them. One afternoon we had difficulty unlocking our hotel room door and the maintenance man came and assisted my husband immediately.

The hotel is a good walk from the boardwalk, but we were fine with that since our intentions were to go to the beach and not get too caught up in the boardwalk activities. I don’t think the walk to the beach could get any closer than it is from the Thunderbird.

We will definitely be coming back again in the near future!

I was extremely happy with my stay at this hotel. All of the staff are wonderful and such a big help! Our cleaning lady was Brenda, she did a great job and was very helpful with things we needed. I was having car troubles and a man who worked there Keenan helped me with my car. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will stay here next time I am in OCMD. Great priced hotel as well. Well worth my money.

My friends and I were extremely pleased with our hotel stay. The room was very cleaned and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoy staying here because it’s close to the beach and of course not far from Seacrets. The bus stop is a block away too. The prices are cheap and the rooms are clean. We will continue to stay here every summer!!!

We stayed there for 2 nights…we arrived a little bit early …still they allowed us to use their facilities even we haven’t checked in yet. Staff were so wonderful..and very accommodating…our friends came the following day..We checked if they would let our friends stay for a night in our room…and they did for NO CHARGE…even gave us some extra blankets…nice fresh sheets…and the lady who cleans our room even place extra nice touches in the room …arranged my kids stuff toys and pillows …fresh new towels each day and sheets too… The location is great…just a walk away from the beach, Splash mountain and McDonald’s…a few blocks away from the Boardwalk..we had so much fun…most importantly we save a great deal on the price.

We stayed Thursday through Sunday. Everything was great. The staff were super helpful when we requested anything. The walk to the beach was short and quick with no cross streets. Jolly Roger Park was in walking distance as well as many places to eat and shop. The room was clean and perfect for our small family. The pool was enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for more although I expected much less, it was a great deal for the price. We also received some vouchers that came with the reservation that we enjoyed using. We walked to and from the Boardwalk (although it was a bit far). I am extremely happy with the Thunderbird Beach Motel and probably will stay there next year again!

My family and I just got back from O.C. where we stayed at the Thunderbird Beach Motel. We had to the most wonderful experience! The staff is amazing!! You are instantly treated like family. Brenda was our housekeeper and she now feels like an old family friend. She couldn’t do enough for us! We would come back just for her! The rooms were clean and anything extra we wanted we had. Apparently the guests that come there are wonderful also! We had car problems and several different guests came to our rescue offering any kind of assistance they could. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone! clean, simple and friendly!!

Everything about this hotel was great from the location in proximity to good restaurants, Jolly Rogers Amusement Park, and the beach, to the guest services. The cleaning staff and front office workers were so polite, and the Thunderbird Motel made this a very enjoyable vacation.

This was a great stay for my family and myself. the Thunderbird is reasonably priced, the staff is so wonderful and helpful. the beach is less than 20 steps behind the motel. jolly roger amusement park is with in walking distance of the hotel… my family and i had a great time and will stay there again….

Thank you for wonderful hotel and great rate! we love this hotel! we took a mini vacation to get away for a lil bit, the rooms were clean and the hotel staff were wonderful! made our vacation a very relaxing and perfect time!
